Prefabricated headmounts for mice have 2 EEG and 1 EMG channels. Stainless steel screws afix the headmount to the skull and act as EEG electrodes. EMG wires protude from the posterior for easy placement in the trapezius. Surgery time can be reduced to as little as 20 minutes. Can also be ordered with 3 EEG & no EMG leads (#8201-EEG)
