The circular cage was originally designed for the #8229 Pinnacle Sleep Deprivation System, but is an excellent cage for use with all of our tethered systems. Since the cage wall is equidistant from the pivot, the animal can comfortably reach the farthest point of its cage yet still not have too much slack in the tether when standing in the middle of the cage. This provides more comfort for the animal and less chance of the tether becoming fouled for the researcher. Access to water is provided and there is easy access from the top for cleaning and feeding. Cage is made of 1/4” clear acrylic and melted to its base, so it may be cleaned in hot baths. 10"d x 8"h, Total height with water bottle is 13.5".
